Huntin'

So i have been out bow hunting many nights so far this season.....i have seen doe almost every time i went out. Two weeks ago i went out, and finally one of the doe came in close enough for me to get a shot off.......So there i was full draw for a minute.....minute and a half......shakin' like a dog shittin' razor blades....and then THWACK there was my pretty arrow stuck right into a tree 10 yards from me.....

a few days later i went back out...sitting in the same seat, here come a doe again.....i draw, i aim, i fire.....THWACK, i hit the same damn tree again. The second arrow sunk in not more than an inch from the first. At this point i realize that my right eye was not dominating my aim....it was my left screwing me up big time.

Now tonight i went back.....determined to get myself a deer. and around 5:20, here came the opportunity. 3 doe walked down the trail 25 yards from me....I picked the biggest one, and fired. My arrow sunk into her, A little high and back while she was quartering away from me....she circled around behind me....and then laid down 35 yards on the other side of me...so i waited till she stood up again..and sunk a second arrow into her....

I waited a little while, got up....walked down.......and i looked where she was laying.....NO BLOOD....i searched for an hour....went and got more lights and people, 3 of us searched for 1.5 hours and didn't find a drop of blood, either of my arrows, or the damn deer. How is this possible....two arrows, a wounded doe, and nothing after 2.5 hours of searching........

Amazing creatures deer are....someone sticks me twice i'm laying down and crying till i die......not running off.
